Change is hard. No doubt about it. It requires intentionality, it requires self-discipline. It’s a process, so we have to be compassionate with ourselves wherever we are. We can only do as much as we can do in any given moment.

We also have to give ourselves a lot of credit for all that we have done already. And really focus on that, because we all like praise. If we can praise ourselves for the things we have done well, then we are more likely to do more of that.
